Garage Clearance
Garages have a way of collecting years of tools, boxes, old furniture and general storage. We clear them out fully, ready to be used properly again — or simply emptied ahead of a move.
What's included
A garage clearance covers everything stored inside — tools, boxes, old furniture, sports equipment, paint tins, garden items, and anything else that's accumulated over the years. We remove it all so the space is left empty, giving you the option to use it properly again, whether that's for parking, storage, or a project you've been putting off. If there are a few things you want to keep, just point them out before we start and we'll leave those where they are.
Who this is for
Garage clearances come up for all sorts of reasons — moving home and not wanting to take years of clutter with you, finally tackling a garage that's become unusable, preparing a property for sale where an empty garage helps at viewings, or simply wanting the space back for its intended purpose. It's also a common add-on to a full house clearance, though it works just as well as a standalone job if the rest of the house isn't affected.
How it works
Tell us roughly how full the garage is and whether there's anything particularly heavy or awkward — an old chest freezer, a workbench, stacked paint tins — and we'll quote accordingly. A couple of photos usually give us enough to work from. Once agreed, we turn up on the date arranged and clear the garage in one visit for most household garages, checking with you first if anything looks like it might be wanted rather than assuming everything goes.
Things to know
If the garage has been used to store anything that needs particular care — chemicals, old paint, gas canisters — it's worth mentioning this when you get in touch so we can plan for it properly. Clearing space in advance for us to move around, where possible, also helps the job go faster. [Details on how cleared items are handled afterwards — reuse, donation, recycling, and disposal — will be added here once confirmed.] As always, there's no obligation to go ahead once you've had a quote.
